At Purdue University, I lead a six-month social media marketing campaign for the Dining & Catering department, centered around an interactive "Photo Challenge" scavenger hunt for freshman orientation. I managed the project from concept to completion—designing the physical and digital media, coordinating with dining staff, and training student leaders to facilitate the game. The initiative was built to playfully guide new students through campus dining spaces while promoting menu items and educating them on vital dietary resources.
During orientation week, I directed the on-site logistics, running marketing activations across the dining courts to distribute merchandise and directly assist students with dietary restrictions. By bridging these in-person interactions with premade digital templates, the campaign drove a notable increase in engagement across all our social networks. We achieved the most significant growth on Snapchat, successfully capturing our target demographic and building a strong, immediate connection between incoming freshmen and campus dining services.
