Experimental Video & AI Integration
My video practice treats artificial intelligence not as a generative output, but as a technical tool for visual transformation. I develop closed-system workflows, training custom LoRA models on my own authored artwork and raw footage, to maintain creative authority and technical consistency throughout the animation pipeline.
Smell the Roses (2023): My foundational exploration of neural-fractal transformation. This piece utilizes a single reference image to drive a 4K, time-consistent animation, effectively mapping complex geometry into organic, evolving landscapes.
Elevator (2025): An experiment in recursive stylistic transfer, utilizing my own physical and digital illustrations to define the visual language of the piece.
A Trip Beyond Reality (2025): A study in cross-medium synthesis, where I trained a custom LoRA on a curated collection of my studio work to bridge the gap between static art and motion.
Confabulations (2025): A research-based work investigating the psychology of memory distortion. Referencing A False and Distorted Memory, this project explores how the human mind "fills in" gaps in recollection. I trained a model on my own archival video footage, using Stable Diffusion to reconstruct those missing cognitive spaces.
Current Research: I am currently developing The Synthetic Memory, an interdisciplinary project that utilizes local LLMs and custom-trained LoRA models to explore the intersection of confabulation, VR, and digital permanence. This project represents the next iteration of my closed-system methodology: ensuring that every frame produced is derived directly from my own visual history.
