ARTIST STATEMENT

Nowhere investigates depth and spatial illusion through perspective and color. Framed by a recurring personal pattern, the composition draws the viewer inward, using the natural flow of form to suggest movement through an imagined environment. Rather than depicting a specific location, the work constructs a sense of place entirely from invention, allowing space to emerge through structure, repetition, and visual rhythm.
