ARTIST STATEMENT

Going Home reflects on a space associated with stability and return. The work centers on a room in my grandfather’s house, approached not as documentation but as an emotional anchor shaped by memory and repetition. Subtle patterning emerges through material restraint, revealing itself only as light shifts across the surface. Rather than asserting presence, the image asks for sustained looking, allowing familiarity to surface gradually.
